Named after the shark. Wide and flat at the back, V-hull forward, draws almost no water. The workhorse for client trips and the Pavilion Key escape.

• Mako Marine has built center consoles since 1967; a 17–19 ft Mako is the classic Florida guide boat.
• Center console = room to walk all the way around during a fish fight.
